Gijikonayeziganag is a traditional hominy used to make mandaaminaaboo, Ojibwe corn soup. Our hominy is lovingly made with an heirloom Anishinaabe flint corn, which has been carefully cooked in a solution of hardwood ashes to remove the hull from each kernel, then air dried for preservation. This age-old process releases the rich, amazing flavor and full nutritional value of the corn!
